i feel that this cartoon sums up AT. Why would we give all students the same techniques when each child will have different strengths. We must truly start to believe in diversity and teach in many different ways to help make the world of education open to all people. Thanks for an awesome class everyone. I hope to see you all in another class or professionally soon.

Case Study

Only three more days until our presentations. It is a lot of information to fit into 20 minutes. It has been a lot of work too. Good luck everyone. See you Saturday.

Clicker 5

I wish there was a way to share our e-book with you. We worked on it most of last class, but it turned out really nicely. All of the programs we have used in this course take time to get to know, and feel comfortable with. I can see why teachers would feel anxiety introducing them into their everyday planning.

I guess that brings up my biggest question. How much training is given to teahcers before they are expected to implement the software. Each assignment created will take at least a half hour to create, so it will be a lot of additional work. I believe it is important work though. I just worry that many teachers will be scared of technology.

What do you think?

Webquest

I used my webquest this week and it was a success. I chose two children from my class to test it out. They did i at home with their parents guidance. They really liked the different activities.

An example of math from Kidspiration

Again, I will elaborate more in my case study, but here is an example of what is possible with kidspiration.
