There are other tools and models that we will be discussion. I have a ppt I will send you that covers these models. Follow up (in our board) is ongoing with school visits, email follow ups and face to face meetings with teams and student observations in schools. The choice of an AT is an ongoing process due to the many changes in students lives, i.e. growth, communication differences and needs, curriculum changes from year to year, technology changes etc. AT is not static....it is a process that is lifelong for the primary user and his/her secondary user supporters. We'll talk about cost in class but technology for people who are blind are VERY expensive...
